There are certain moments that will echo in your memory long after your wedding. The comforting presence of your best friend as you get ready. The teary-eyed smiles from your parents as you exchange vows. Your sibling’s laughter during the reception speeches. Heartfelt emotions like these define the relationships with your loved ones.
Beyond the curated details and the iconic personalizations, this celebration is a culmination of generations of love and support for you as individuals — now pouring into the new life you’ll build together. With this in mind, Nicole uses over a decade of experience and a family-oriented approach to capture this legacy as your East Coast wedding photographer. Taking cues from the intentionality of film photography and the graceful tones of coastal aesthetics, her calming presence and seasoned eye will document a time-honored record of your wedding and connections.

WHY DO YOU USE FILM PHOTOGRAPHY?
This analog form of photography requires a rare focus. Rolls of film are numbered, but this provides an intentional approach to each photo as it’s taken. The pace has to be slowed — measuring the light, composing the image, adjusting the settings — but the results overflow with value and artistry. The tone and texture of film are beyond nostalgic too, a thoughtful approach to storytelling that is forgotten with digital photography.
The final result, with the reliability of your digital images, is a wedding gallery that feels altogether more grounded in the emotion of the moment and the overall narrative of your wedding weekend.

When do you use film, and how are the photos shared?
All photos are delivered the same way — in a private online gallery for you to download and share from. Film photos are taken throughout the course of the day, as much as possible. For key moments of your wedding like your ceremony, portraits, and getting ready, medium-format film will be used as a core piece of the storytelling.
This encourages a more mindful approach to the framing for both you as the couple and Nicole as the artist. During the more fast-paced and energy-filled moments, like the reception, digital cameras will best capture the moment, perhaps with a few 35mm frames woven in for added nostalgia.
What is your approach to working with our other vendors?
Having photographed weddings for more than a decade, Nicole’s workflow syncs up seamlessly with other vendors. With the philosophy that your experience as the couple should take priority over everything else, her approach encourages flexibility and positive collaboration with every vendor contributing to your wedding.
She also offers a second perspective on photography timelines for planners as needed with pre-wedding consultations and just-right vendor communication to complement the vendors you’ve chosen. This contributes to a cohesive and meaningful atmosphere for the wedding, with details well accounted for.
What are your travel fees?
For weddings within the New England area (Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island) there are no travel fees. However, if you plan to have a destination wedding outside of these areas or a multi-event weekend, please get in touch with your intended location to receive a custom quote for your needs.
How do we confirm our dates with you?
Begin with a brief introduction through this inquiry form. Nicole will email you or your planner to confirm availability and request a consultation. Then, a tailored proposal will be emailed that can easily be confirmed with a signed contract and paid service retainer.
